Floating the Boise River from Barber Park

 
Epley's Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals

Epley's is contracted by Ada County Recreation & Event Services to manage raft rentals on the Boise River. Floaters put in at Barber Park and take out at Ann Morrison Park with return-trip transportation services available. Epley’s is a licensed and bonded outfitter through the State of Idaho, AAA approved.

Barber Park Hours

Gates: 8 a.m. - Sunset

Rentals Open: 12 - 5pm Monday through Thursday 12 - 6pm; Friday 11am - 6pm weekends/holidays

Rental Returns: 2 - 8pm Monday through Thursday 2 - 9pm; Friday 1 - 9pm weekends/holidays

When You Arrive -- Parking

$5/vehicle Mon-Thur 10am - 7:30pm; $6/vehicle weekends/holidays; 8am - 7:30pm.

Vehicles illegally parked will be towed!
 

Getting Back Up The River

Shuttle back to Barber Park for just $3/person. Take out at Ann Morrison Park; shuttles leave every hour on the hour, 7 days a week. Shuttles run 1-8 pm Mon-Thur and 1-9 pm weekends/holidays, summer season. Shuttles depart Barber Park every hour on the half hour.

 

Additional Renting Info

  • Renter is responsible for damaged, lost or stolen equipment. All equipment is rented at your own risk. Equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations.
  • Rent equipment at Barber Park and return it at Ann Morrison Park.
  • Check your rental equipment prior to using it; you are responsible for any damages upon return.
  • Idaho State Law requires all vessels including rafts, kayak and canoes be equipped with a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) for each person and child 14 years of age and younger, using onboard vessels 19' long or less; these persons must wear an approved PFD when vessel is underway (IDAPA 26.01.30050).
  • Please do not exceed the listed number of people into rafts, kayaks or tubes.
  • No pets on shuttles or left in cars. STRICTLY enforced.
